Banana Bread

Ingredients

2 very ripe bananas
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
A pinch of salt
2 cups (160 g) rolled oats
1 egg
A drizzle of honey
2 tbsp maple or agave syrup
1 cup (170 g) chocolate chips
1/4 cup (30 g) walnuts
1/4 cup (30 g) pecans

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F / 175°C.
2. Mash the bananas in a bowl.
3. Add the egg, honey, and maple/agave syrup, and mix well.
4. Stir in the rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
5. Fold in the chocolate chips, walnuts, and pecans.
6. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
7. Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Tip:

For extra flavor, toast the nuts lightly before adding them. Serve warm with a drizzle of nut butter for a nourishing breakfast or snack.
